A German shepherd dog named Capitán ran away from home after his owner, Miguel Guzman died in 2006. A week later, Guzman's family went to the cemetery and they found Capitán grieving beside his master's grave in the cemetery.

Veronica Guzman, Miguel Guzman's widow told reporters, "We had never taken him to the cemetery so it is a mystery how he managed to find the place."

The Guzman family has gone to the cemetery to visit both Manuel and Capitán every Sunday for the past 6 years. The dog often leaves the cemetery to spend a bit of time with his family but he always returns to the cemetery before dark. "I don't think he wanted to leave Manuel on his own at night," Veronica told.
