Blue-Footed Booby

The blue-footed booby (Sula nebouxii) is named from their unique blue-colored feet. It lives in tropical and subtropical islands off the Pacific Ocean. Half of all breeding pairs of blue-footed booby are in the Galápagos Islands in Ecuador. The blue-footed booby is on average 81 cm (32 in) long and 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs) in weighs.
The name booby comes from the Spanish word "bobo". The word means "stupid" or "fool"/"clown". This is because the bird is clumsy and unwary in the land. They can easily captured, killed, and eaten by humans.
During mating rituals, male booby flaunts his blue feet and dancing to attract the female. The bluer the feet, the more attractive the female.  While dancing, the male spread his wings and stamp his feet on the ground.
The bird also use their feet to cover their young and keep them warm.
